Mael pulled hard on the arm holding him, still thinking it bloody unfair for the other to be that strong... but the worse was probably the expression of indifference that the demon knew would piss him off... and it did...

"hm? Why? Why shouldn't I simply eat you and be done with it?" since the mage had been mana drained it would be the easiest thing on the world...

The insults that followed were not exactly an answer, but the message was clear...

Just little silly idea that poped in when you asked me for that trade and I though: Why not? ^^
So you have Corvabus and Mael... their way cross again and... it's still as tense as ever...

Corvabus the demon belong to :iconincubireaper:
Mael the mage and Knight is mine ^^

Ah, so this is the infamous duo that end up tossed together time and time once more hm? It is simple to see with the facial expressions alone who tends to be the one responsible a good portion of the time, but in the same sense, I do feel the need to mention that these ones feel more 'alive' than other images that have been seen. It could be the fact that each is portayed miraculously, or it could be the fact that the owners put so much emotion into them, it's almost as though there is an existing alternative world and these males are going at each other as expected.

Mael's expression is highly amusing - he comes off as someone that's generally his own boss, protective of those held close, and of course able to become serious should the situation call for such. Quite odd considering the terms and conditions of the backstory that was written up and submitted. Also, the beard is indeed a nice touch. Not many characters have face fuzz :3

The demon on the other hand ... I admit, he is pretty simple in the fact he's quite a pandora's box to figure out, and hopefully not make a mistake along the way ... or else. On one hand he's easy to hate, but not the bad kind. More the kind that's ... well, hard to explain but it is a good thing!

Also simple to see the warning on how it is hard to have one without the other.

Yep, the duo that had seldom any moment of peace everytime they met...whether because they have to save the world, or because Corvabus do his best to piss off Mael...

I do think this picture look more alive than most too, but I also cannot say why... If I had an hypothesis, I would say the expression, like you did...
(Personally I do believe into the whole 'other world' thing, with them going at each other... it make me laugh ^^)

Corv' isn't that hard to figure off: You prefer to be on his good side... XD

Sound advice no doubt, but one might happen to be curious as to what happens to those not so fortunate.

What can be said, is that it's good to see friend-ed pairs, despite the looseness of the word alone and foremost. That and, Mael really is quite cute with his moods - makes me wonder whether he'd ever have the fortune or the spare time for a lady friend xD

tu devrais lire les Rp qu'on a fait! C'est aboslument tordant... l'autre est un batard hauntain, and le blond c'est un paysant devenu chevalier... et y peuvent pas se supporter!!!

I've seen some demon characters around, but this one seems to be somewhat not the cliche that befits someone perceived to be powerful and off the rails, as the old time quote tends to be. From the expression on the face I'm going to assume this tends to be one of those calm bastards that gain quite the humour and entertainment on annoying others to high heaven, when not hunting down such folk as dinner.

The blend of indigo and ebony in the hair is beautiful, and the classical colours do tend to highlight such a spawned creature to the point that one might wonder what lies beneath the mortal guise. I know I do.

Mael on the other hand, is a contrast - blond via ebony. I love the irate expression and those narrowed brows, and the facial hair is a nice touch! How it light dances around the mouth is quite wonderful done. Also the position, how the hands are wrapped around one arm ... it shows the physical difference between humans and demons, though, from the picture I can see Mael might have a good chance to cheap shot the demon... though, probably not a good idea.

Loving these two after reading through Demon Prisoner and up to the current post in Unexpected Help. I hope there is a return in the future.

Brilliant illustration as usual.

From what I saw of Corv in the two Rp so far, he is exactly that kind of demon. smug bastard that love taunting people.

And Mael... well is more the common kind of mortal with lot of determination and will... and that cross the strange kind of path...
Cheap shot aren't his thing though... he is a knight after all...

There will be a return, since this is a trade, and I'm not worried, I know that Incubi will do wonders ^^

Thanks a lot as usual :p ^^

Oh! Good, I was beginning to ponder on Mael's appearance so this is quite helpful on that area - the literature can proceed without aweful errors, heh.

I love how spot on you have managed to capture Corvabus's complicated personality - the collected calmness and smug attitude, the nonchalent expression and indifference all wrapped up into one package. And who could forget the annoyed beyond all reason Mael - priceless expressions are priceless.

The teaser-tale is good too!

Ah, some friendships are odd no? Then again, I don't think that is the correct term for their relationship so, something on the same general idea, hehe.

Hopefully Mael cools down, otherwise he probably will end up nommed upon and ticked off further xD

A job well done.

Well at first I just wanted to do them glaring at each other... then Mael refused to take the pose, so I decided to punish him. I don't think Corv' complain though...

I just love Corvabus personality too (what I saw of it anyway), so it wasn't that hard ^^

And the teaser tale... well I don't know. I just felt like putting some text... and here you go.

I'm glad you like ^^
